Coach Chip Sodemann has experienced success in basketball on every level he’s had the opportunity to participate. As a 3 time All Suburban West Conference Selection he led the Parkway West Longhorns to a 27-3 record his senior season and a District title. Sodemann would go on to a successful college career at Truman State before turning his focus towards coaching.
After a stint as a graduate assistant at Truman State, Sodemann returned to his roots at Parkway West where he served as an Assistant Coach to his father, Missouri Basketball Hall of Fame Member, Bill Sodemann.
After spending 3 years at the helm of the Washington BlueJays, Sodemann was presented a unique opportunity to build the new program at newest and 3rd high school in the Wentzville School District, Liberty High School.
Sodemann’s team played primarily a Varsity schedule in 2014-15 and is 4-10 with three games remaining before entering District play against the likes of St. Charles, St. Charles West, St. Dominic, Ft. Zumwalt East and McCluer.
Coach Sodemann took a few minutes to visit with us on a CNR Basketball Podcast – Coaches Corner.
