Our 7th grade team will participate in a league administered by CNR Basketball. Teams from all across the St. Louis area will be participating in this league with games played at area high schools. We will likely play the majority of our games at Ft. Zumwalt West and Ft. Zumwalt South on Saturday or Sunday.
We will tip off our season with a Pre Season Tournament November 22-23 administered by CNR Basketball and our regular season will start December 6th or 7th. We will play anywhere between 8 and 12 games as part of our schedule with CNR. At the direction of our respective coaches, teams may elect to enter additional tournaments during the season and likely finish the year with the CNR Post Season Tournament.
Practices will take place at Wentzville South Middle School and be held primarily on Monday and / or Wednesday evening. While this is not confirmed, we expect the 7th grade team to practice anywhere from 7pm – 9pm on Wednesday night. Occasionally conflicts at Wentzville South Middle School will dictate we practice on Tuesday night, but these conflicts are minimal.
Realizing our season starts in just over 6 weeks, we have a lot to accomplish in a short period of time. Here are the next steps:
1.) Confirm your acceptance of the invitation to participate in our 7th grade program. (EMAIL HERE)
2.) Please submit your son’s uniform sizes. We have samples for players to try on if interested. You are welcome to stop by Dustin’s house to have your son try on the uniform to ensure proper sizing. (Our uniform will consist of a reversible jersey and reversible shorts). We also need a number preference. Numbers must be between 0-5, 10-15, 20-25, 30-35, 40-45, 50-55. 3.) Please submit payment for the season in the amount of $245. The $245 will cover the following (Uniform, League Fees, Practice Fees, Two Tournaments and Club Fee).
4.) Practices may start as soon as October 13 and for the week of October 20th.
