September 30 – Emails have been sent, or are in the process of being sent, inviting players who attended the recent player evaluations / tryouts to join a Bombers Basketball / Liberty Feeder Team. We’re still in the process of finalizing some of the girls team assignments, but expect to have invite emails out for the girls teams by the end of the week.
We’ve set up a page on the website to assist with accepting uniform orders. Included in the uniform will be a reversible jersey and shorts. GO HERE to place your uniform order. It’s important we get this uniform information in as quickly as possible to ensure we have our uniforms prior to our first games.
If you would prefer to try on the uniform prior to making your sizing decision, you are welcome to stop by Dustin’s house to try on the uniform samples. Email Dustin HERE if you are interested in doing this.
We have also started to collect fees for the upcoming season. Each team will ultimately have a unique fee structure as coaches opt to play a varying number of games or tournaments during the season. We’re excited to be able to offer a fee structure keeping the per game cost between $9.00 and $12.00 per game before factoring in the uniform cost. Below are some frequently asked questions we’ve been getting since extending the invitations to join a team:
Q: When will we know the other members who are on our team?
A: We will be posting rosters online as soon as we’ve confirmed the respective teams. In some cases we’re not going to make the final roster determinations until after we get the opportunity for a one or two practices. It’s our objective to provide each player the best opportunity possible to develop their individual skill set while learning to contribute in their role as a member of a team. Together with the coaches we will finalize rosters by mid-October.
Q: When will practices start?
A: We have gym space reserved beginning October 13th. We’ll be maintaing a program Calendar HERE that will highlight the nights we have the Wentzville South Middle School gym reserved. As soon as players have confirmed their interest in playing on a Bombers Basketball team, we will be finalizing our regular practice schedule with the respective coaches. We will then notify everyone of the weekly practice schedule via email and also update the website.
We have reserved Wentzville South Middle School Monday and Wednesday evenings, 6pm – 9pm, with an occasional Tuesday tossed in to replace a Monday or Wednesday not available because of a school related function taking place in the gym.
