Basketball is a long season and successful teams understand it takes effort, energy and great attitudes from everyone involved during all phases of a season to enjoy sustainable success.
Our 6th/7th grade girls team is a testament to this. This team came together in mid October having never played together and some players with very limited basketball experience.
Every practice, every game they’ve given 100%. While this team has won a lot this year, improving in all facets of the game and getting more competitive each and every time out, last night they enjoyed the thrill of finishing a game with more points than their opponent.
We’ve known this team has been winning all year, but last night everybody in the gym knew they were victorious as well. Congrats to Coach Harris and his 6th/7th grade Lady Bombers!
