Parent Text Updates

Did you know you can receive immediate updates via text message from the Bombers Coaches?

Using social media, specifically Twitter, Bombers families are able to get updates on game cancellations, practice schedules, etc.

Here’s how it works.

Visit www.twitter.com and set up a Twitter Account.  Even if you don’t intend to post on Twitter, by having an account you can subscribe to mobile alerts from the Bombers Basketball and Baseball Teams.

Once you’ve set up an account, you will need to select 5 people to follow.  Here are a few recommendations:

Follow these steps to set up your mobile phone on your Twitter Account:

1. Go to your Twitter Account and click on Settings (Upper right corner)
2. On left side, click on Mobile
3. Input your phone number
4. Check the box for “Tweets from people you’ve enabled for mobile notifications”
5. Click on the link showing who are you are following (upper left)
6. Find the Bombers_Bball and BombersBball accounts and click on the drop down arrow (More User Actions)
7. You can now request to receive mobile alerts from posts made by the Bombers Basketball and Baseball Teams
